Person-Centred Nursing Theory and Practice

Donna Brown, Lecturer

Reason you chose this book

A book that articulated my practice. It helped me grow as I identified with the importance of knowing self. It encouraged me to live out my values and beliefs as a nurse as I worked alongside patients.

Review

This book clearly discusses the origins of person-centredness and breaks down the elements into easily understood components. Using examples in and from practice to explain how the PCF has been operationalised is insightful and practical. A must have book for all those who aspire to improve patient care and healthcare environments by truly working in collaboration as a team.
