Consultations

Make your voice heard by responding to consultations on issues related to nursing.

What is a consultation?

A consultation is an opportunity for individuals and organisations (usually called ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥˜stakeholdersÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥™) to give their views about topics or proposals. Sometimes, it will be the Government who consult on a proposed policy change. This will give the RCN and its members the opportunity to share our views and positioning.

Why is it important to respond?

Consultations give us the opportunity to communicate our positions directly to decision makers, with the aim of aligning their views with ours. If successful, this type of influencing can provide the opportunity for improvements for the issues which impact our members.

How do I get involved?

You can respond to public consultations directly as individuals. You can also get involved in RCN responses through your forum or branch.
