“Reading a report like this is always disappointing. We know that there is still a lot of work to be done; changing things will take time.
“Staff at the Trust will also find this a difficult read. Our members work really hard to do their best under difficult circumstances. The lack of nursing staff is referenced time and time again and yet it is heartening to see that “caring” has been rated as good.
“We will be looking to work with the Trust and our members to ensure things improve for staff and patients more rapidly than they have to date.”
