1 – 7 June is Volunteers Week in the UK, and we want to say a big thank you to the many volunteers from the History of Nursing Forum who donate their time to help us.
Volunteers support us by creating catalogue records for our archive collections and digitising Congress brochures and guides – more news on this project next week!
Between January - March our volunteers had donated 150 hours of their time. The pandemic lockdown has meant a stop to activities that could only be done onsite, but 4 volunteers have carried on supporting us from home: transcribing and summarising oral histories, researching individuals and organisations in our collections.
We’re looking forward to celebrating our volunteers in person at some point in the future once social distancing is relaxed.
