We offer RCN members support with the use of two referencing tools, ZoteroBib and Zotero.
ZoteroBib: easy referencing tool
ZoteroBib is a free, easy to use, online tool that you can use to create a reference list from thousands of citation styles. It is suitable for everyday use for assignments or reports. There is nothing to download and you can start using it straightaway.

One to one training sessions: online or in person
Learn how to use ZoteroBib or Zotero. We offer one to one training sessions for members, which last for up to one hour and are tailored to your needs.
Please note we cannot check your references in these sessions.
Group training sessions: online
From referencing, to using databases, to making better use of our online resources. We have a range of member only training sessions that can support you whether you are studying or need information for self-development or work.

Writing for a publication
RCN referencing guidelines provide guidance about the RCN citation style, which you should use if you are writing an RCN publication. ZoteroBib and Zotero can be used to create references in this style. You should always use the referencing guidelines of the organisation you are writing for.
