BRCA gene alteration diagnosis as a Breast Care Nurse
In August 2023 I found out that I carry a BRCA2 gene alteration. I was plunged into a world where I was both the nurse and patient. I learnt how difficult it can be to separate the two, but it has been valuable in helping me develop a deeper understanding of my patientsÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥™ experiences.
