Bounded by the Peak District in the east, the Pennines and the Irish Sea to the west, Cumbria in the north and the West Midlands in the south, RCN North West encompasses the large and cosmopolitan cities of Liverpool and Manchester as well as the rural areas of Cheshire, Lancashire and parts of Cumbria. The region represents nurses and nursing, promotes excellence in practice and shapes health policies on behalf of some 49,000 members across the North West.
